2022 Mastercam Wildest Part Competition

To encourage healthy competition and outside of the box thinking, our professor encouraged us to enter the 2022 Mastercam Wildest Parts Competition.

Capstone Design Project

The Capstone Design Project was an individual project that encompassed designing, drawing, modeling, structural integrity calculations, material selections, bill of materials, and purchase orders of a Fat Tire Trike.

Capstone Manufacturing Project

The Capstone Manufacturing Project is a group project. With my design being chosen to be manufactured, I am leading a team of students in bringing this vision to life.

Small Hammer Project

The small hammer project encompassed a design phase based on given parameters and a manufacturing phase on the manual lathe.

Step Block Project

This milling project was a two-part project. First, we had to square the block and have it graded. Next, we had to choose an object to make from a handful of options for which shop drawings were supplied. I aimed to make the part as close to perfect as possible. This page shows measurements with a digital caliper for comparison with the shop drawing.
